LSFMA Scholarship Application
The Louisiana School Facility Managers’ Association will award five (5) one-time $1,000 scholarships (as funds permit) to qualified applicants. Please read and follow the information below pertaining to qualifications, required items, and submission for this scholarship.
NOTE: Awardees will not be eligible in subsequent years.
A: Qualifications
1. Applicant shall be a child or grandchild of a current LSFMA school district employee member.
2. Applicant should have ranked in the top 50% of his/her high school graduating class and/or in the top 50% of any junior college or four-year college, and/or have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
3. Applicant should be pursuing an education at a 2-year college, 4-year college, graduate school, business school, or technical school.
B: Required Items
1. This Application Form is completed and sign.
2. Transcript(s) from each high school attended is/are attached with rank in graduating class provided.
3. If applicable, transcripts from all technical schools, business schools, junior colleges, four year colleges, and graduate schools are attached with rank in class provided.
4. A 500 word essay on the topic “How School Facilities Support an Effective High School Education” is attached. This essay should be double-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman font with one-inch margins.

2. The deadline for submission for Fall Scholarship awards is August 1. Selected Recipients will be notified by August 15.
